Ky Supreme Court Releases Two Family Law Opinions Today

Lichtenstein v. Barbanel, payment of marital debt may not be off-set against child support under UIFSA. Trial Court also erred in failing to establish child support arrearage owed by one parent before determining net amount owed by other, where custody had been changed and amount mother owed to father had not been established before Income Withholding Order had been issued.
